THE YEAR OF SUPER NATURAL INFLUENCE

I have prophetically declared the year of 2009 as the Year of Super Natural Influence for our church. I believe with all my heart that you will see the amazing happen in this ministry and in your lives this year. Get ready for the best year of your life!!!

WHAT IS INFLUENCE?

I’m glad you asked! Webster’s defines influence as: “The power to affect others.” However please let me note that this is not merely influence that we are talking about. This is supernatural influence. This means that we will have the power of God flowing through our lives in such away that we will influence every person we come in contact with for the Glory of God.

HOW THIS RELATES TO OUR CHURCH

The major theme of this year will be everyday evangelism & discipleship. God has instructed me to make sure that we are a church committed to seeing people not only saved, but also converted & matured in the things of God. Mathew 28:19-20 says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” We have been called by God to win souls, but we have also been called to teach other believers everything we have learned. This teaching element is true discipleship. We are to teach others everything we have learned about Giving, Church Partnership, Faith, Healing, Prosperity, etc…

It is not enough for us to simply get people saved and then invite them to church, but for healthy growth to take place, we must continue to walk with them, answer their questions, encourage them in the word, pray with them, and be there to help them mature in the things of God. As a matter of fact, the first part of the vision for SOFCCG reads “The Vision that God has given us is first to teach and develop a spirit of faith in you, so that you in turn, teach it to others as this congregation grows.” This is discipleship at its finest. We must influence people to grow in God and to have a hunger for a relationship with the almighty. We will influence the unsaved to be saved. We will influence people from every culture & race to be a part of what God is doing in this local church. We will influence those who have been stuck in tradition and religion to be free. We will influence every soul in this city, to seek first the kingdom of God.

HOW THIS RELATES TO THE PARTNERS OF SPIRIT OF FAITH

First off, when I speak of partners of Spirit of Faith, I am talking about people that God has called to this local church, and have actually decided to partner with us in impacting this region for Jesus Christ. When I talk about partners, I am not talking about absentee people who simply put there name on the role, but don’t have a zeal for God or for this vision.

When I talk about partners, I am talking about those believers whom God has called to undergird this vision and support this vision with their time, talent, and treasure. We’ll be the recipients and partakers of the anointing of God that is assigned to this vision.

For those PARTNERS who are committed, consistent, and connected, I believe with all of my heart that you will see things come to pass this year that you have been believing God for – for some time. You can expect supernatural influence every where you turn. You can expect to be the Godly influence in your neighborhoods, work places, families, and wherever you are. You can expect to influence your employers to give you a promotion and for the wicked to give you their wealth. You can expect to influence your children, spouses, and family members to get out of religion and tradition and truly give their hearts to the Lord. All of this will be contingent upon your lifestyle and your zeal to walk in an anointing of influence.

Influence = Power. Therefore God does not give real influence to children. He only gives this kind of influence to people who live Holy and will put him first. This kind of influence will cause great wealth to come to you and will cause your name to be great. Therefore this kind of influence is not for carnal Christians. God said he would not put more on you than you can bear. The kind of power and notoriety that comes from supernatural influence is one that must be earned through integrity, character,

and the fruit of the spirit. God will not trust you with this level of influence if you have situational ethics. That is when you are ethical only based upon the situation. You pay your tithes as long as things are looking ok, but as soon as the situation changes, and things get tight, you rob God.

I believe for God to send and raise up leaders and laborers all throughout this church. The definition of leadership is influence. A leader is not a leader by a title alone. A leader can be seen by the people that are following their lead. A leader can be seen by the amount of people that they influence. I believe that a large leadership front will raise up in this church in 2009. I believe that people will answer the call of God, and begin to step into their rightful positions, as key influencers in Spirit of Faith.

The year of supernatural influence will be a mile stone in this church. People will want to do business, with us. People will look forward to seeing us coming and will want to do business with us. We will have influence in the schools, in politics, in colleges, and in corporate America. We will influence others to follow us as we follow Christ. This influence will cause a respect and admiration to come upon this church and upon all the partners of this church. We will use this door to get people saved and matured in the things of God.
