This is the “Year of Strong Foundations”. God wants to do something so awesome in this ministry and in the lives of our partners this year. However, before you can build any structure of size and value, you first have to make sure that you have the right kind of foundation. Having a proper foundation is the most important step in the building process. Many people don’t experience God’s best in life, because they have built their lives on a faulty foundation. They have built their lives on top of religion, tradition, worldly thinking, incorrect information, and popular opinion. If you have built your life on top of these things, your structure is bound to fall because it does not have the right kind of foundation. Every believer must be founded in the word of God, and a relationship with God. Having the right spiritual foundation is the most important thing that you can do in your life.
This is the year for us to tear down belief systems that have kept us in poverty, sickness, worry, & despair. Some of us have had cracks in our foundations, and because of this God has not been able to increase us as He would like. The bible says that He will never put more on you than you can bear. A lot of times we use that scripture speaking of the bad things, but it speaks of the good things as well. Some believers don’t have the foundation to be able to handle more anointing, more favor, more wealth, and more blessing. That is why this year is so important. This might be the most important and pivotal year of your life. In this year of “Strong Foundations” we are laying a spiritual foundation that we will benefit from for years to come. So many people spend their lives focusing on all kinds of things, only to find out that they weren’t the right things. This year we are focusing on building a spiritual foundation with God’s word. This one year that we sow into building or rebuilding the correct spiritual foundation will cause the next 50 years, or the number of our days to be blessed & fruitful.
Luke 6:46-48 gives us the example of a man who laid the foundation of his house on a rock. When the storms, circumstances, set backs, or road blocks of life rose up against it, the house could not be shaken because it was founded on a rock. Regardless of how long you have been saved, or even in church, let this be a year where God can lay a rock solid foundation in you so that He can take you to new levels and heights in Him.
There are three basic steps you will need to take this year to lay the proper foundation:
- Come to church
- Hear the word
- Do the word
If you can commit to the process of applying these three steps to your everyday life you will see significant change over this next year.
THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!!
