Wow! Talk about having faith and sowing into the kingdom of God. Since partnering at Spirit of Faith, I have learned that when taking care of God’s business first, He will definitely take care of yours. I’ve been out of work for about a month now and knew that my only income was going to be fixed. Pastor Ken, through your teaching on sowing and giving my seed a purpose, I have received proper understanding through faith on speaking to my seed. I sowed in Super Sunday a seed of $1,000.00 and only God knows the sacrifice I had to make to get that seed. December 31, 2009 I received an unexpected check in the amount of $510.00---but that wasn’t all. On the first day of the "Awakening Fast" on January 4, I received 5 more unexpected checks totalling 6 checks within three days close to the amount of three thousand dollars! This is just one small example of how God demonstrates His honoring of His word when we honor Him first. Thank you Pastor Ken for leading the flock in the right direction according to the Word of God. Before I joined Spirit of Faith, I thought I knew God. I soon found out that the journey had just started. As I began to get planted and serious about my growth in God, (because simply attending a church is NOT the same as being submitted, committed, obedient, and planted) my life began to blossom. My once-shattered marriage began to piece back together. I had just re-launched my business and was struggling due to bad staff decisions and lack of focus. Now, God has blessed me with a phenomenal staff and we are growing by leaps and bounds. I am experiencing shalom, which means that nothing is missing, lacking, or broken. Partnering with Spirit of Faith was one of the best decisions of our lives. Since getting plugged in to this ministry, our Pastors, and the awesome vision that we have been called to, the window of heaven blessings started to flow and have yet to stop. In our marriage, our communication is phenomenal, we have learned to love, honor, and respect each other as the King and Queen that we are, and we understand the value of compromise, sharing, and being on one accord. The Bible talks about how unity commands a blessing. It also talks about how one can chase a thousand, but two can put ten thousand aflight. Through our partnership, we have learned the tools that we need to put these two principles to work. We’ve experienced financial increase, spiritual growth, and general prosperity in every aspect of our lives. Our income has doubled in the last year and we have been blessed to buy a 3,500 square foot house with a basement, an acre of land, two creeks that meet at the edge of the property, and $50,000 worth of instant equity, all in a "down economy." Thanks to Spirit of Faith, we are good examples of what a believer should look like. We are the head, not the tail and we are on top, never beneath. All of this, we have seen manifested in one year.
